On May 28, an international seminar titled “Prospective Diagnostic Methods in Accelerator and Radiation Physics” was held at the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, Russian Federation.
During the seminar, Senior Researcher of A. Alikhanyan National Science Laboratory, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Suren Harutyunyan, and Researcher, Candidate of Technical Sciences Eleonora Lazareva presented talks dedicated to the application of vibrating string resonators in accelerator and radiation physics.
The discussions focused on the potential applications of the new device in the diagnostics of charged particle beams, radiation measurements, and long-term monitoring of radiation-irradiated materials.
