On November 25, Professor Karen Egiazarian (Tampere University, Finland) presented a seminar at the A. Alikhanyan National Science Laboratory entitled “Classical and Modern Methods of Image Denoising.”
The presentation was devoted to image denoising, one of the important areas of modern computer science, which is closely related to information theory and statistical physics.
During the seminar, the BM3D method and optically compatible systems used to improve image quality were presented.
