Applied Physics Research Division

The Applied Physics Research Division (APRD) conducts research in the field of materials science.

One of the main directions of the Division is the study of radiation effects—particularly electron beam irradiation—on the physical, optical, and biological properties of materials. Research is carried out on wide band-gap materials and their applications, including scintillation, dosimetry, and luminescent tubes.

Experimental work is performed using modern equipment, including an energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence analyzer, the LUMEN system, vibrating wire technology setups, and vacuum apparatus.

The scientific results of the Division are regularly published in high-impact international peer-reviewed journals.
