Seminar on “General Trends in Advanced Complex Adaptive Systems” at AANL

On November 27, AANL Leading Researcher, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Davit Sahakyan, presented a seminar entitled “General Trends in Advanced Complex Adaptive Systems.”

The presentation was devoted to the characteristics of advanced complex systems—systems characterized by “infinite complexity.” A number of examples were discussed, including mathematical systems with Gödel’s incompleteness property, the origin of life, open-ended evolution, and artificial general intelligence.

During the seminar, a number of universal features characteristic of such systems were presented, including essential (strong or entangled) self-reference, duality, the importance of classical analogues of vortex phenomena and quantum anomalies, the principle of maximal causality for different parts of the system, the general applicability of generative models and active inference, as well as the presence of multiple levels of reflection (mirror levels).
