AANL HOSTED A SEMINAR BY HARUT AVAKIAN

On July 4th, 2023, a seminar themed “Spin structure of the nucleon:
current status and future measurements” was held at the AANL. The USA Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility (CEBAF) at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (JLab) delivers the world's highest intensity and highest precision multi-GeV electron beams for more than 25 years.
In his talk, Mr. Avakian presented the ongoing studies and some proposed future measurements with hadrons in electroproduction at JLab, and discussed the opportunities with JLab energy upgrade to 24 GeV. He highlighted the studies on partonic and hadronic correlations which are becoming increasingly important in the interpretation of electroproduction data in general, and hadronization process of quarks, in particular.
