«CHANGE THE WORLD WITH SCIENCE, BUT FIRST WE HAVE TO START AT HOME AND CHANGE ARMENIA WITH SCIENCE» - ANI APRAHAMIAN

On April 25, IUPAP international conference "Heaviest Nuclei and Atoms" officially started at the RA National Academy of Sciences with the slogan “SCIENCE BRINGS NATIONS TOGETHER”.
AANL director, professor Ani Aprahamian was among the invited speakers to give a talk on "Superheavies in Space" through which she tried to answer the question: “Does nature make superheavies by itself ?” (link to PPTX).
The conference will last till April 29th, 2023. It is dedicated to the
90th anniversary of Yuri Oganessian, a world-famous Armenian scientist, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, laureate of the UNESCO-Russia Mendeleev International Prize, foreign member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.
