On January 18 and 21, 2019 at #Alikhanyanlab a two-day seminar dedicated to the founder of the Theoretical Physics Department, Professor Sergey Matinyan was held.
The opening session included reminiscences on the noted scientist and mentor with demonstration of photos of various years. Then, during the two-days session 10 talks were given on broad problems of
condensed matter,
dark universe,
neutrino experiments,
artificial intelligence,
statistical mechanics,
quantum chaos,
game theory,
random number generator,
biophysics.
The talks were given both by senior and young researchers. All talks initiated active discussions. The seminar is aimed to make traditional in every January.
