Closing of the “Progress through Effective Science 2026 (AAG-2026)” Conference

From May 11 to 16, the international scientific conference “Progress through Effective Science 2026” (AAG-2026) was held in Dilijan, bringing together representatives of Armenia’s scientific community, including researchers, scientists, and early-career investigators. The conference served as a platform for presenting scientific results, exchanging experience, and fostering new collaborations.

With the support of the RA MoESCS Higher Education and Science Committee, the conference presented the outcomes of state-funded research programs, including projects under flagship research initiatives, laboratory and research group development programs, and targeted research programs addressing state priorities.

Throughout the six-day program, the conference featured plenary and parallel scientific sessions, poster presentations, and short talks in the Gong Show format. The thematic scope covered a wide range of scientific fields, including theoretical and nuclear physics, materials science, nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, organic chemistry, astrophysics, and environmental studies.

A special focus was placed on the participation of early-career researchers. Students and young scientists presented their work through both poster and oral formats, actively engaging in scientific discussions and exchange of ideas.

Interdisciplinary dialogue played a key role in the conference, contributing to the strengthening of collaboration among researchers from different fields and the emergence of new scientific initiatives.

The “Progress through Effective Science 2026” conference once again demonstrated the importance of such platforms in shaping a modern, collaborative, and competitive scientific environment in Armenia.
