From September 7 to 11, a study visit entitled “Strengthening Science–Business Cooperation to Enhance Resilience and Competitiveness in the Eastern Partnership Countries” was held in Austria, with the participation of AANL Director Gevorg Karyan.
The visit brought together representatives of the science, innovation, and education sectors from Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine to explore effective mechanisms and best practices for developing cooperation between science and business in Austria.
As part of the program, the participants visited research organizations, universities, innovation centers, and high-tech companies. The discussions focused on mechanisms for the practical application of research results, technology transfer processes, as well as effective models of cooperation between scientific organizations and universities.
During the visit, the delegation also met with representatives of Austrian public institutions and became acquainted with policies, funding instruments, and mechanisms aimed at promoting science, innovation, economic development, and international cooperation.
