Artur Mkrtchyan, Head of a Research Group at the A. I. Alikhanyan National Science Laboratory (AANL) and Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, presented the ongoing research and development activities related to scintillation and Cherenkov detectors, the technical capabilities of the laboratories, and the history of their establishment within the framework of international scientific cooperation.
He also highlighted the modern equipment used in the research, the processes of detector design, fabrication, and testing, as well as the involvement of young researchers and students.
