On August 14, a meeting with representatives of the Hrant Dink Foundation was held at the A. I. Alikhanyan National Science Laboratory (Yerevan Physics Institute) to discuss opportunities for cooperation, ongoing programs, and prospects for joint initiatives.
During the meeting, the parties presented their activities, reviewed ongoing programs, and discussed possible areas of cooperation. Particular attention was given to the prospects for implementing joint initiatives within the framework of the “Beyond Borders” program.
The participants also exchanged views on the role of science and research in the development of the region. The importance of creating opportunities for knowledge exchange, supporting young researchers and professionals, promoting dialogue, as well as strengthening ties between institutions and communities operating on the other side of the border was emphasized.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss how scientific institutions and civil society organizations can complement each other’s activities and contribute to the development of broader regional cooperation through joint programs and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
The parties emphasized the importance of continuing discussions on future cooperation opportunities and expressed their readiness to further develop dialogue and explore prospects for joint initiatives.
