AANL’s vision is to become a regional center of excellence for advanced scientific research in high-energy physics, astrophysics, cosmic rays and nuclear physics, nuclear medicine, materials science, as well as quantum and information technologies and other related applied fields.

The Laboratory’s strategic priorities are aimed at expanding the scope of scientific research and introducing modern standards in order to enhance the effectiveness of research activities, achieve applied outcomes, and foster the development of an innovative ecosystem.

Another key objective is to train highly qualified scientific personnel and ensure effective generational continuity in the field. Given the vital importance of long-term investment in science, preserving and further developing the traditional school of fundamental research is of particular significance, as it constitutes a key foundation for creating Armenia’s own technologies and implementing them in practice.
